4. Attach the liner adapter to the insert flue adapter and then locate correct connection position in the 

fireplace and attach to the liner.  Make sure the adapter is centered, 8-1/2” behind the fireplace 
opening, and approximately 18” from the floor of the fireplace.    

HINT

: Placing the flue connector near its final position is key to an easy installation.

Slide the insert into place.  Make sure the adapter fits over the opening for the flue.

A flue adapter pull-stick is included to help position the flue adapter in place. Insert the pull stick 
through one of the holes for the flue adapter bolt.
