The figure below shows a VoIP environment, with possible VLAN configurations (using the optional TN
EPC Utility to send Ethernet frames to the switch).
The EPC (Ethernet Packet Controller) Utility, N-POE-EPC, which can be downloaded from the
Transition Networks
website
(login required). This utility is required for applications that use VoIP
phones that don't tag traffic, but whose traffic needs to be VLAN tagged.
