Replacing HP Bracket with LP Bracket (Optional on N ‐ GXE ‐ POE ‐ LC ‐ 01 &
N ‐ GXE ‐ POE ‐ SFP ‐ 01)
The N-GXE-POE-LC-01 and N-GXE-SFP-01 ship with the High-Profile (HP) bracket attached. If your
system requires a low-profile bracket, you may need to replace the bracket.
The procedure below describes how to remove the HP bracket from the N-GXE-POE-LC-01 or N-GXE-
POE-SFP-01 and replace it with the low-profile (LP) bracket. You can also use this procedure to
remove the LP bracket and replace it with the HP bracket.
To replace the HP bracket with the LP bracket, perform these steps. See the figure below.
1. Remove and save the screws that attach the bracket to the N-GXE-POE-LC-01 or N-GXE-
POE-SFP-01.
2. Carefully place the bracket on the NIC.
3. Replace the screws removed in step 1.
