Diagnostic: Discharge Air Temperature Source Failure (In Alarm)

Typical Causes
Reset Required
HVAC Critical Alarm.
Unit will shut down and be
prevented from running
until this sensor is in a
normal state.
The temperature sensor is
reading either above its
maximum value or below is
minimum value, resulting in
a Fault Condition after 3
point updates.
• Sensor is not wired
properly: Verify sensor
wiring to the XM Module.
• XM Module is not
communicating. Ensure that
the XM Module is up and
talking to the UC600.
• Sensor has Failed. Verify if
sensor has any resistance
on it, should be 8-12k of
resistance on the
thermistor.
Manual Reset Required once
the issue is resolved. User
must toggle the Alarm Reset
value.
