all of them; but this is not the case, so just hit the pads (while still holding SHIFT) to tog-
gle them on (bright orange).
5.
You'll propably notice that the third pad in the top row (C1), containing the "Bubble Gate"
riff, is not in the same key as the rest of our Remix Set.
6.
Press SHIFT + TYPE (PITCH) to enter Pitch mode — both SHIFT and TYPE (PITCH) start
blinking.
7.
Now push and hold the third pad (C1) and look at the display. It says "03" with a little dot
in the upper left corner. The "03" means that the Sample is three half steps "off," and the
dot in the display means that it is three half steps down. If there were no dot, it would
indicate that the Sample is transposed three half steps up. Naturally "on" and "off" are rel-
ative terms here, since our Samples from the tutorial Set were built to match in key with-
out transposing.
8.
While still holding the pad, slowly turn the encoder knob clockwise. Each increment trans-
poses the Sample up one half-step, and you can hear the pitch changing. Stop at "00."

Now our Sample matches the key of the rest of the set!
