Mounting the column
- Now put the column (1, fig.4) in the square
recess (2, fig.4), this can be done in two
ways, considering the weight of the column.
You can lift the column, using a sling which
meets the European standards and that can
handle the weight. U could also lift the
column on the machine with two persons,
make sure you lift from the legs with a
straight back.
- Allign the holes in the column and the
recess and put pin H (fig.5) in place and
tighten with washer G (fig.5) and bolt F
(fig.5).
- Now put the airline (6, fig.4) through the
hole in the machine along the backside of
pin L (fig.5) to avoid damage to the hose.
- Now connect the column with the piston
rod (I, fig.5), align the holes and connect
them using bolt J (fig.5), now place the
washer and tighten nut K (fig.5) firmly.
- Now remove the side cover of the machine
and connect the air line (6, fig.4=1, fig.6) to
the regulator (3, fig.6), by pressing the line
in the coupler (2, fig.6). Make sure if the line
is locked.
CAUTION! When column installation, keep
column vertical, prevent it from tilting to
avoid injury!
The horizontal arm can move freely, be
careful!
