3.4.2.1.2 Aircraft Address (AA) Value
To configure the Aircraft Address (AA) perform the following procedure:
1. Select “AA” and press the rotary knob to start editing the AA. The first digit turns yellow.
2. Turn the rotary knob to change the value.
3. Press the rotary knob again to save the selected digit. The next character turns yellow.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all digits are set to desired value.
Note:
After editing the changed value is not saved automatically! You have to select “Save” once all data have
been configured (see 3.4.2.1.4).
Note:
Before you can enter the Aircraft Address, the Flight ID needs to be defined.
Note:
All values except “000000” and “FFFFFFF” are valid. The transponder accepts all values but if an invalid
value is used as Aircraft Address the transponder will show a failure and the transponder switches to
AC-only mode.
3.4.2.1.3 Device Parameter
To configure the parameters associated to a Flight ID select “Device Parameter" and press the rotary
knob. A submenu “Device Param.” is displayed.

The submenu “Device Parameter” consists of two (2) pages.

After changing any parameter the new value is not saved automatically! You have to select “Save” once
all data have been configured (see 3.4.2.1.4).
3.4.2.1.3.1 Aircraft Category
To configure the aircraft category select “Aircraft Category" and press the rotary knob. A submenu “AC
Category” is displayed.
