Sewing thick fabric

When sewing over thick fabric, the

angle of the presser foot may interfere

with feeding of the fabric.

Presser

While lifting the black button (the

presser foot locking pin) lightly and

pressing it, lower the presser foot

lever.

The presser foot remains level,

allowing the fabric to be fed.

After the seam is sewn, the presser

foot will return to its original

position.

To prevent this, find a piece of fabric

or paper of the same thickness as

the fabric you are working on under

the back side of the presser foot.
