• Zipper insertion
Caution
Before changing the presser foot, remove the
power plug from the outlet.
Not doing so could cause an injury.

Attach the zipper foot. (Refer to “Changing the presser foot” on page 23.)
Raise the needle to its highest position, and then turn the pattern selection dial to select
stitch number 6.
Set the stitch length dial between “2” and “4”.
First, sew the left side of the zipper.

Position the fabric so that the zipper is on the
right side of the presser foot.

Set the right side pin of the zipper
foot to the presser foot holder.
Align the zipper and the fabric, and tack.
