There are various zigzag applications, such as
applique and overcasting.

Position the fabric under the presser
foot, and then lower the presser foot.
Step on the foot controller to begin
sewing.
Zigzag sewing foot
Turn the handwheel towards yourself to raise the needle.
Turn the pattern selection dial to choose the pattern.
Set the stitch length dial between “0.5” and “4”.
