COPY program 

(a)

 

When COPY is selected, the following message appears: 

FLOPPY DISK FORMAT & COPY : VX.XX 
Type select (0:2DD,3:2HD) ? 

(b)

 

Selecting a media/drive type number will display a message similar to the one below: 

Insert source disk into drive A: 
Press any key when ready. 

(c)

 

Remove the Diagnostics Disk from the FDD, insert the source disk and press any key. 
The following message will appear, indicating the program has started. 

[ FD TYPE ] : TRACK 

 

= XXX 

[ FD TYPE ] : HEAD

   

= X 

[ FD TYPE ] : SECTOR = XX 

Copy start 

[[ track,head = XXX X ]] 

(d)

 

Remove the source disk from the FDD, insert a formatted work disk and press any 
key. The [[ track, head = XXX X ]] message will appear and start copying to the target 
disk. When the amount of data is too large to be copied in one operation, the message 
from step (b) displays again. After the floppy disk has been copied, the following 
message will appear: 

Copy complete 
Another copy (1:Yes/2:No) ? 

(e)

 

To copy another disk, type

 and the message from step (a) displays again. Entering 

2

 

returns the test program to the DIAGNOSTIC MENU.
