Executing the Diagnostic Test 

Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the DIAGNOSTICS TEST PROGRAM. To start the 
DIAGNOSTIC TEST PROGRAM, follow these steps: 

1.

 

Insert the Diagnostics disk in the floppy disk drive and turn on the computer while pressing 

U

.  

(The Diagnostics Disk contains the MS-DOS boot files.) 

NOTE

:  To execute the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM test, make sure the CD-ROM and 

CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM and DVD-ROM drive is installed in the computer. 

The following menu will appear: 

 

 

NOTE

: To exit the DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU, press 

Esc

. If a test program is in 

progress, press 

Ctrl

 + 

Break

 

to exit the test program , or press 

Ctrl 

+

 

C

 

to stop the test 

program .
