The recorder creates temporary
folder “All”, which contains all
playable files.
Playing MP3 files
You can play MP3 files that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on this recorder.
Preparations
• Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this recorder. See
page 75.
• Set “Priority contents” (
page 129) to “Audio”.

Press DVD.

Load a CD that contains MP3 files.
Playback starts from the first track of a current folder.
If playback does not start, press the PLAY button.
To stop playback
Press STOP.
If you press the PLAY button after pressing the STOP
button, playback will start from the beginning of the
track.
To pause playback
Press PAUSE.
To resume, press the PAUSE button again or press
the PLAY button.
To skip tracks
During playback, press SKIP repeatedly.
: To skip forward.
: To skip backward.
Selecting a track in the disc
2 ways are available:
On the “CONTENT MENU Audio List”
1) Press DVD.
The “CONTENT MENU Audio List” appears.
Notes
• The BITSTREAM/PCM COAXIAL AUDIO OUTPUT jack outputs MP3 sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the
current “Audio out select” (
page 127) selection.
• You cannot change the playback speed of MP3 playback.
