Wireless remote controller

Turn on the power of the air conditioner.
When power is turned on for the
fi
rst time
after installation, it takes approx. 5 minutes
until the remote controller becomes
available. In the case of subsequent
poweron, it takes approx. 1 minute until
the remote controller becomes available.
Execute a test run after the predetermined
time has passed.

Push “ON/OFF” button on the remote
controller, select [ Cool] or [
Heat]
with “MODE” button, and then select
[
HIGH] with “FAN” button.

“ON/OFF” button to stop operation.

When TEMPORARY button is pushed for
10 seconds or more, “Pi!” sound is heard
and the operation changes to test run. After
approx. 3 minutes, a cooling operation
starts forcedly.
Check cool air starts blowing. If the operation
does not start, check wiring again.

To stop a test operation, push TEMPORARY
button once again (Approx. 1 second).
Check wiring / piping of the indoor and outdoor
units in test run.

When a test run is not performed
properly
•
When a test run is not performed properly, refer
to the error code and the part to be checked on
“Troubleshooting”.
•
When a test run is executed before installing
the external duct, a protection control may be
activated and lets the unit stop and the code
P12 may be displayed. (This is not due to a
malfunction but to the current control function
of the DC motor in this unit.) When a test run
executed before installing the external duct,
select “Low” for the fan speed level or cover the
air discharge.
•
In addition, stop the operation before replacing
the High-ef
fi
ciency
fi
lter or opening the service
panel. After the test run, reset the circuit
breaker of the indoor unit.
