Two shipping brackets securing the carriage to
the service drawer must be removed before
attempting to lift the carriage from the drawer.
These brackets are used only for transportation
and may be discarded.

During initial
installation, the contactor carriages must be
removed from their compartments to allow
access for anchoring the enclosure to the floor,
and for pulling and terminating load cables.
Removal of the contactor carriage is facilitated
by the use of a Toshiba JK carriage lifting
attachment (Fig.
and a suitable overhead
lifting device.
The lifting attachment is
