(1) While pressing [0] and [5] simultaneously, turn the power ON.
→
(Adjustment Mode)
(2) Press [98]
→
[FAX]. (A grid pattern with 10 mm squares is printed out. Use A3/LD from the 2nd
drawer.)
(3) Measure the distance C from the 2nd line at the leading edge of the paper to the 22nd line of the
grid pattern.
* Normally, the 1st line of the grid pattern is not printed.
(4) Check if the distance C is within 200±0.5 mm.
(5) If not, use the following procedure to change values and measure the distance C again.
(6) Perform the color registration (4719) after the adjustment.

*When the value is not within the recommended values, the trailing edge area of the image may
be out of position for the paper length or the density at the trailing edge area of the image may
become lower. Perform the adjustment confirming the image.

*The larger the adjustment value is, the longer the distance C becomes (approx. 0.09 mm/ step).
