1. DAILY INSPECTION
Items for Daily Check
Power switch ON/OFF status
We recommend that you turn the power switch ON at the startup everyday so as to use whenever needed.
Also, be sure to turn the power switch OFF when you leave the office, except in the following cases:
- When the off-mode (or sleep mode) is set;
- When the weekly timer is in use;
- When the Fax (optional) is installed;
Weekly Maintenance
Cleaning the original glass, the original cover, the scanning area and the guide area.
To scan the original in good condition, we recommend that you clean the following items weekly.
Clean the surface with a cloth moistened with a small amount of water, alcohol or neutral detergent,
then wipe a dry cloth over the surface.
- Be careful not to scratch the parts that you are cleaning.

DO NOT use such solvents as thinner or alcohol when cleaning the surface of the equipment.
-This could warp the shape of the surface or leave it discoloured.
-When using a chemical cleaning pad to clean it, pay attention to any cautionary points.
