Loading a USB Flash Drive
(For BD-LIVE™ Contents)
Check the orientation of connector, then insert
a USB flash drive into the EXTERNAL USB
connector.
To remove, first stop playback, then pull the
USB flash drive slowly and horizontally.
NOTE:
•
Do not connect any USB drive other
than a USB flash
drive.
•
To play BD-LIVE™ contents, use a
USB flash drive with a capacity of
more than 1GB as temporary local
storage.
• Some USB flash
drive may not work
properly even standardized.
Notes on Discs
Structure of Content
Contents in Blu-ray Disc™-Video, DVD video,
AVCHD usually consist of several sections
called “title”, which is sub-divided into small
sections called “chapter”. Titles and chapters
are all numbered.
Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD / AVCHD
In audio CD’s, contents usually consist of sev-
eral tunes or songs, which are called “tracks”,
and are all numbered.

files are stored in fold

ers, in which another folder can be added.
On Handling Discs
•
Do not touch the playback side of the disc.
•
Hold the edges of a disc as follows.
•
Do not stick paper or tape to discs.
•
Do not bend or scratch discs.
On Cleaning Discs
•
Fingerprints and dust on the disc may cause
picture and/or sound deterioration or prevent
playback. Wipe the disc from the centre
outwards with a soft cloth. Always keep the
disc clean.
•
Do not use any type of solvent such as
thinner, benzine, commercially available
cleaners or antistatic spray for vinyl LPs. It
may damage the disc.
On Storing Discs
•
Do not store discs in a place subject to
direct sunlight or near heat sources.
•
Do not store discs in places subject to mois-
ture and dust such as a bathroom or near a
humidifier.
•
Store discs vertically in a case. Stacking
or placing objects on discs outside of their
case may cause warping.
