Filling the Engine with Oil
Parts needed for this procedure:
19 fl oz
(0.55 l)
SAE 30 automotive grade oil with an API service
classification of SL, SM, or higher (not supplied with
the mower). SAE 10W30 may be used if SAE 30 is
not readily available.
Procedure
Important:
Your mower
does not
come with oil in
the engine.
1. Remove the dipstick (Figure 7).

Slowly
pour oil into the oil fill tube, periodically
checking the level with the dipstick, until the dipstick
indicates that the engine is full as illustrated in
Figure 7.
Do not overfill.
