Recycling the Clippings
Your mower comes from the factory ready to recycle the
grass and leaf clippings back into the lawn.
Note:
The grass bag may remain on the mower while
you are recycling the clippings.
To recycle the clippings, move the Recycling/bagging
lever to the
recycling
mode (Figure 19).

Bagging the Clippings
Use the grass bag when you want to collect grass and
leaf clippings from the lawn.
WARNING
A worn grass bag could allow small stones and
other similar debris to be thrown in the operator's or
bystander's direction and result in serious personal
injury or death to the operator or bystanders.
Check the grass bag frequently. If it is damaged,
install a new Toro replacement bag.
WARNING
The blade is sharp; contacting the blade can result
in serious personal injury.
Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop
before leaving the operating position.
To bag the grass clippings, install the grass bag
(refer to Installing the Grass Bag) and move the
Recycling/bagging lever to the
bagging
mode
(Figure 20).

Raise and hold up the rear door (Figure 21), install the
bag (Figure 22), and lower the rear door .
