Shutting Off the Engine
CAUTION
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
attempt to move or operate the tractor while
it is unattended.
Always remove the ignition key and engage
the parking brake when leaving the machine
unattended, even if just for a few minutes.

Operating the Mower
Using the Deck-Lift Switch
The deck-lift switch raises and lowers the cutting unit
(
Figure 22 ). The engine must be running for you to
use this lever.

•
To lower the cutting unit, push the deck-lift switch
down (
Figure 22 ).
Important:
When you lower the cutting unit,
it sets in a float/idle position.
•
To raise the mover deck, push the deck-lift switch
up (
Figure 22 ).
Important:
Do not continue to hold the switch
up or down after the mower has fully raised or
lowered. Doing so damages the hydraulic system.
