Start the tractor and set the engine speed to a slow idle.

5.

Engage the rear PTO drive of the tractor.

Stop operating the machine as follows:

1.

Locate the override lift control switch on the control
pad (

Figure 18

), and pull it back until all the cutting

units are raised to the transport position.

2.

Release the switch, and engage all of the transport
latches.

3.

Disengage the rear PTO drive of the tractor, and stop
the engine.

4.

Push the override control switch, and move the
individual lift switches to the Drop position.

Note:

This fully engages the arms into the transport

latches.

5.

Engage all the transport latch safety locks as shown
in

Figure 20

.
