4.2 Introduction

This section helps you to locate problems related to MB7900 setup. The most common

installation problems are related to the IP address. For example, without the TFTP server

IP address, you will not be able to download firmware to MB7900.

IP address management is critical and we suggest you to create a chart to document and

validate the IP addresses of your system.

Reset to Factory Default procedure

If the password is lost or forgotten, you will need to reset the MB7900 to default values.

The

Reset to Factory Default

procedure resets the MB7900 configuration settings, but

does not change the current firmware.

Firmware Upgrade Procedure through Web

Use this procedure to upgrade the newest version firmware for MB7900 through Web

interface on user client. This procedure may be necessary when a new version of

firmware is released (Figure 4-1).
