3.4.3.3 GPS
MB7900 supports GPS services using the 3G module with built-in GPS capabilities. When
configured, MB7900 can send the GPS coordinate info to a specified server via WWAN.

Enable GPS Services
: To Enable or disable GPS function.

Interval:
The interval for MB7900 to send the coordinate info to the specific
server or save GPS data in MB7900 locally.

GPS type Chosen:
To select the GPS source from the 3G module, USB modem
or the external GPS mouse.

Displaying the current coordinate info.

Enable Send GPS data to remote GPS server:
Enable or disable send GPS
data to remote GPS server. When enabled, the GPS coordinate info will be sent
to the specified server configured in the “
Remote GPS server
” box.

Remote GPS server:
The IP address of remote sysgps server.
z
Remote GPS port:
The UDP port of remote sysgps server

Identify:
This parameter is used to present the MB7900’s name to the remote
server.
By default, the GPS coordinate info will be saved in MB7900’s local memory. For the third
party software, such as Google Earth, the GPS location information would be access by
