Deter
mine which molded plastic oil cooler air
scoop is the r
ight and which one is the left b
y
test
fi
tting them to the outboard wing panels
. Hold the
left air scoop to the left outboard wing panel.
Use a
fi
ne-point f
e
lt-tip pen to mar
k the outline of the scoop
directly onto the wing.

ng from the wing 1/16" [2mm]
inside the lines y
ou mar

e
d, b

ng in place
. Wipe a

y
the ink with one of y
our
small paper to

l squares and denatured alcohol.

Glue the air scoop to the wing with medium CA.

Mount the r
ight air scoop to the r
ight wing panel

y.

5.
Fit the end of one of the 10 x 150mm alumin
u
m
outer panel wing tubes that has the threaded hole into
the left, inboard wing panel.
Secure the tube in the wing
with a 4-40 x 3/4" [19mm] SHCS
. Also fi
t one of the 22
x 295mm outer panel wing tubes into the panel.

Join the outboard panel to the inboard panel
with a 1/4-20 x 2" [50mm] n
y
lon bolt.
Tighten the
outboard panel to the inboard panel

7.
