Mount a 2-56 ball link ball on the bac
k of the
le
v
e
r with a 2-56 n

t and a drop of threadloc
k
e
r.

Fit a br
ass b
ushing into the front of the le
v
e
r
with a 4-40 x 1" [25mm] SHCS
. Add a f
e
w drops of
threadloc
k
e
r to the threads on the end of the scre
w
.
Then, mount the le
v
e
r to the w
ood b
loc
k on the front of
fo
rmer 2 inside the fuselage—there are access holes
through the front tw
o f
o
rmers that y
ou can guide y
our
3/32" ball end wrench through and there is a 4-40
b
lind n
u
t in the bac
k of the f
o
rmer
. Tighten the scre
w
as m
uch as possib
le without binding the le
v
e
r.

t the nose gear door to the fuselage with the
special spr
ing hinges
.
Note:
The hinges are installed
to spr
ing the door open, not closed.
Holding the door
closed, adjust the hinges so the door is centered in
the opening.

Remo

e
the door hinges

paint.

6.
Glue the hinges in the doors and in the fuselage
with 30-min
u
te epo
xy
. Use masking tape and thin
cardstoc
k to hold the door closed and centered until
the epo
xy has hardened.

Cut 1/2" [13mm] from the
threaded
end of a
4" [100mm] pushrod.
Thread the pushrod about half-

y into a n

lon ball link.
Cut the o

all length from
the end of the ball link to the end of the pushrod to
2-1/8" [55mm].

Sand the base of a small n

so glue will adhere
. Connect a scre
