9. Operation
a) Switching On/Off
• To activate the laser distance meter, briefly push the measuring button „ “ (B).
Then all display segments appear briefly; afterwards, a sound signal is audible and the laser is
activated. The laser distance meter is now ready for operation and a measuring process can
be started (see chapter 9. b).
If the laser is to be deactivated, briefly push the power button „ “ (D). The laser is also
automatically deactivated after 30 seconds to save power.
• To switch the device off. keep the power button „ “ (D) pushed for 3 seconds.
The laser distance meter switches off automatically after 3 minutes if no button is
pushed.
b) Individual Distance Measurement
• Switch on the laser distance meter with the measuring button „ “ (B) first, see chapter 9.
a).
• If the laser lights up, place the lower edge of the laser
distance meter at one surface and point the laser beam
accordingly so that the distance can be measured.
• Now briefly push the measuring button „ “ (B) to
measure the distance and display it in the bottom line
(4). The laser goes out.
• If a measurement is to be repeated, briefly push the
measuring button „
“ (B). The laser is now activated
again.
After pushing the measuring button „
“ (B) again briefly, the distance is measured and
displayed.
The preceding measured value appears in the upper line (3), the current one in the
lower line (4). You can compare two distances or two measurements, for example.
• After briefly pushing the Power button „ “ (D), the respective last measured value can be
deleted from the display.
