7. Assembly
Always remove the battery before attempting any installation or adjustment work or changing attachments
or accessories. Inadvertent operation of the on/off switch (2) can otherwise cause injury.
a) Attaching/replacing the saw blade
Commercially available saw blades with a T-shaped slot (see illustration) will fit in the saw blade holder (6).
• Turn the lever on the saw blade holder (6) and then push the saw blade with its teeth facing forward all the way into
the saw blade holder (6) slot.
• When inserting the saw blade, take care that the back of the saw blade rests
in the groove of the supporting roller.
• Release the lever to lock the saw blade.
• Before starting work, check the saw blade lock by pulling on the saw blade. It must not come out of the saw blade
holder (6).
• To remove the saw blade again, turn the lever on the saw blade holder (6). The saw blade is released and can
then be removed.
