Be sure to turn off the power of this instrument and all instrumens which
are connected to it, when connecting a cable from an external device to
the connector on the instrument. Failure may occur.
1.1.5 External devices or network
■
When operating this instrument connected to other devices, only use
devices that satisfy IEC60601-1 or equivalent safety requirements, or that
conform to IEC60950 and whose power source is insulated with an
isolation transformer, in order to satisfy the relevant safety requirements
for medical equipment.
■
In case of setting the network, be sure to do it after agreement of the
network administrator.
■
For LAN connection, be sure to connect the instrument via a hub. The
instrument will not operate correctly if connected directly.
■
In cases where the instrument is connected to a network, there may be a
risk to the patient, operator or third party. Changing network may
present new risks. Be sure to confirm safety when you connect to, or
change a network.
1.1.6 Transportation and packing
■
The instrument needs to be protected against vibration and impact when
transporting it in a car or vehicle. Be sure to use the packaging box of
this instrument.
■
Keep the box and packing materials for use when moving or transporting
the instrument.
