FULLY BIOLOGICAL MINI SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT FOR YACHTS, HOUSEBOATS AND MOBILE HOMES
enteron | User Manual
All accumulated faeces flow into the first collection
tank, where heavy components settle and floating
components as well as fat collect on the surface. From
the first chamber, the faeces/toilet paper/flushing wa
-
ter mixture is transferred to the centre tank, which
contains the bioreactor. This consists of a special tube
on which the the bacterial film grows. The components
of the first tank that are passed through the tube are
The resulting sludge collects in the area of the tank
ends and in the reactor hose and is regularly suc-
tioned off and continuously crushed by a macerator
pump. This avoids the occurrence of sewage sludge.
Sewage sludge is always produced when waste, too
thick toilet paper, excessive amounts of toilet paper,
food waste or hygiene products (binding, tampons,
processed by the bacteria. Only when these particles
are small enough will they pass the perforations in the
tube with the liquid and enter the middle tank. From
here, the clarified liquid passes through a pre-filter
into the third tank, where a final separation of residual
particles by sedimentation takes place. A tank sensor
detects the level and initiates discharging of the tank
through the drainage pump.
condoms, diapers, paper tissues) enter the plant. Ex-
cessive sludge formation can lead to the clogging of
the plant. The cleaning performance must be visual-
ly checked weekly. If excessive overpressure occurs,
excessive sludge formation can be the cause. Please
inform your guests on board about the special cha-
racteristics of use as well as additionally by attaching
the enclosed user information (sticker).
The bacteria are supplied with atmospheric oxygen in the bioreactor.
Therefore, the mounting location requires good ventilation and fresh
air supply from outside.
Sewage sludge must not be disposed overboard in areas where the discharge
of faeces is prohibited (inland waters, barrier zones, protected areas, 12-mile
areas near the shore).
Particularly critical is the use of moistened toilet paper (wet wipes),
which can lead to blockages of the pumps in the toilet or the unit.
