Safety Information
During operation of the bathroom
heater/drier, do not remove the filter, or
insert your finger, a bar, or other object into
the louvers (hot air outlets) or air intake
grille.
¡
A fan is rotating at high
speed inside the bathroom
heater/drier. Particular care
needs to be taken in homes
that have small children.
This can cause an injury,
burn, or malfunction of the
heater/drier.
Do not insert sharp objects (wire, etc.) into
the mist nozzle holes.
¡
This can cause a burn. This can also
change the spray volume of the mist
or cause a breakdown.
Do not intentionally splash hot or cold water
on the bathroom heater/drier or remote
control.
¡
This can lead to
an accident or
breakdown.
Do not open your eyes directly in front of the
mist nozzles while the mist sauna is
operating.
¡
C h l o r i n e a n d o t h e r s u b s t a n c e s
contained in the mist (tap water) can
cause inflammation or pain in the eyes.
Either avoid looking in the direction of
the mist nozzles, or close your eyes
when bathing.
Grounding is required.
¡
This bathroom heater/drier requires a ground.
Check that the heater/drier is properly grounded.
Do not connect the ground wire to a gas pipe,
water pipe, lightning rod, or ground wire of a
telephone line. This can
l e a d t o a n e l e c t r i c a l
shock if the heater/drier
breaks down.
Be sure to stop operation before cleaning the
bathroom heater/drier.

the equipment. Failure to stop
operation can result in an injury.
When cleaning the bathroom heater/drier, use
gloves to protect your fingers, and make sure
that the bathroom heater/drier has
completely cooled down before starting the
work.

careful that you do not lose your footing and
fall down.

When cleaning, do not wear
slippers that can slip easily
or use an unstable stool to
stand on. Also, do not climb
on the edge or cover of the

Do not operate the bathroom heater/drier
with the front panel or air
filter removed.

If you notice a strange noise, water leak,
smell, or anything unusual from the bathroom
heater/drier, immediately stop operation

Take corrective action by referring to
"Troubleshooting" (page 58).
Never use flammable or explosive materials in
the bathroom.

Do not bring or place
benzine, gasoline, spray
cans, portable gas stove
canisters, or other
flammable or explosive
materials in the bathroom.
This can cause a fire or
explosion.
Do not dry laundry with the bathroom
heater/drier when a lighter, matches, or other
flammable objects are in any clothes pockets.

This can cause a fire.
Do not use the bathroom heater/drier to dry
your hair or body.
¡
Your hair can get tangled in the heater/drier, or
you can become dehydrated, develop a low-
t e m p e r a t u r e b u r n , o r
suffer other ill effects.
Take action immediately in the event of an
earthquake, fire, or other disaster.
¡
Immediately stop operation in the event of an
earthquake, fire, or
other disaster, and
perform the proper
stopping procedure
for the heat source
unit by following the
operation manual of
the heat source unit.
Do not hang on or dry heavy
objects from the bathroom
heater/drier or laundry pole.
¡
This can lead to an accident.
Do not dry clothing under the bathroom
heater/drier when cooking oil, animal oil,
machine oil, perm solution, resin (cellulose-
based), dry cleaning oil, benzine, thinner,
gasoline, or other flammable chemicals were
adhering to the clothes, even if the clothes
were washed.

The clothes can catch
fire due to heat generated
by oil oxidation and other
causes.
Do not install the bathroom heater/drier in a
room other than the bathroom (such as a
changing room or closet).
¡
The heater/drier can overheat, causing
discoloration or peeling of the wall or
c e i l i n g c l o t h , p e e l i n g , i g n i t i o n o r
e x p l o s i o n o f s p r a y s c o n t a i n i n g
flammable gas, or other accidents.
