The X Configuration Tool
The Tobii X2 Eye Tracker can be used in many different setups. For example, it can be used to perform eye tracking relative to a
physical scene, a TV, or a projection screen. For all this to work, the user must provide some information to the Tobii X2 eye
tracker about the physical setup. This is done using the X

The X Configuration Tool can be accessed via the Eye Tracker Browser software.

Plug in the provided USB memory stick and run the Eye Tracker Browser installer.

Follow the on-screen instructional steps to complete the installation.

Open the Eye Tracker Browser (Start > Programs > Tobii > Tobii Eye Tracker Browser). When the Eye Tracker Browser
opens, a list of the discovered eye trackers is displayed.

Select your Tobii X2 Eye Tracker from the list and click the C

Reference Measurement Point of the Tobii X2 Eye Tracker
All distance measurements must be performed from the same reference point on the eye tracker. This is marked with a line on
the upper side of the eye tracker as illustrated in the pictures below.
