9. To boil water, depress the On/Off Switch to the 'On' ('I') position. The
interior light will illuminate and be visible through the Water Level
Window to indicate that the Kettle is in the boil cycle. Once the water
has boiled, the On/Off Switch will automatically switch to the 'Off' ('0')
position and the internal light will go out.
10. Pour as much water as is required from the Kettle. Grip the Kettle by the
Handle only as all other surfaces will be hot.
11. Return the Kettle to the Power Base. The 'Keep Warm' Switch will be
illuminated. The water must be above the MIN mark on the Water Level
Window to use the 'Keep Warm' feature. If the water is below this mark,
refill the Kettle to between the MIN and MAX marking and boil the water
by following the directions above. The water can then be left in the
'Keep Warm' function for later use.
12. The Keep Warm feature will cycle on and off to keep the water temperature
between 170° - 180°F / 76° - 82°C (when the water is at the maximum
level). NOTE: The internal light, visible through the Water Level Window,
will turn on and off as the Kettle is cycling.
NOTE: You can manually switch off the Kettle during the boiling cycle by
pressing the On/Off Switch to the 'Off' ('0') position and depressing the
Keep Warm Switch so the Switch light is off.
CARE AND CLEANING
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the Kettle. Dry thoroughly
before use.
