5. Wash the Filter Baskets, Permanent Nylon Filters, Removable Drip Trays

and the Mugs and Covers in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.

6. Wipe the Base with a soft damp cloth. NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE IN

WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

7. DO NOT clean the inside of the Water Reservoir with a cloth as this will

leave a residue of lint and may clog the Coffee Maker.

8. Replace the Filter Baskets by inserting the longer top pin into the top

hinge. While pressing the Filter Basket upwards slightly, fit the bottom
pin in the bottom hinge. Close the Filter Basket door.

Descaling

Over a period of time, minerals and calcium found in water will accumulate in
your Coffee Maker and may affect its operation. The appliance should be
cleaned approximately every six months, depending on water conditions. Use
distilled vinegar in the following manner to remove the mineral deposits.

1. Fill the Water Reservoir with vinegar up to the 'single mug' marking.

Fill up to the 'double mug' marking with fresh water.

2. Remove the Permanent Nylon Filters and close the Filter Basket Doors.

3. Place the Mugs without covers under the dispensers.

4. Plug the unit into a 120 Volt A.C. outlet.

5. Press the On/Off Switch to the 'On' position ('I')

6. Once the water and vinegar solution has finished dripping in the Mugs,

press the On/Off Switch to the 'Off position ('O').

7. Repeat the above steps using cold water to reinse away any residual

vinegar. Repeat twice.

8. Unplug unit from outlet or if necessary, repeat the descaling directions

above. Be careful when opening the Reservoir Cover when the Unit is hot.
