Disassembling the valve
- Unscrew the screws (5) and remove the cover (6).
- Unscrew the screw (7) which fixes the control rod (8) to the starter motor
(9).
WARNING
Recover the O-ring (10).
- If the rod (8) must be replaced, adjust the distance of the new rod
between the two heads and try it on the two measuring rods (11)
positioned on the cover (6).
- Reassemble all the components working in reverse order paying at-
tention to position the O-ring (10) correctly under the head.
Reassembling the valve on the engine
Reassemble the valve working in reverse order to disassembly by tightening
the screw (3) which secures the lower eye of the rod to the valve opening/
closure lever.
