8. Use a flathead screw driver to adjust the temperature setting of the thermostat switch to the desired activation

temperature. The fan will operate once that temperature is reached and run until the garage is approximately 20F cooler
(see chart below).

Note:

The switch is sensing the temperature at the location of the switch (the bottom part of the attic), so adjust the setting
slightly higher than the temperature you would like to maintain in your garage.

9. Secure the fan intake grille against the ceiling of the garage so the louvers face the intake

grilles. Align the holes of the grille and theholes of the intake plenum (Figure J).

10. Cut 12” x 12” holes in your garage door or garage walls and mount the included in fresh air

intake grilles to allow outdoor air to enter the garage space as the fan operates (Figure K).
Make sure the added depth of the grilles clears the top frame of the garage door

11. Position grilles over the opening ensuring the louvers face downward to prevent rain from

entering the garage. Mark mounting holes and drill small pilot holes.

12. Mount grilles with provided screws. Do not overtighten screws. Tighten just so the screw

head meets the grille.
