TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem

Cause

Remedy

Motor does not 
start

1.     Fastening nut tightened 

insufficiently

2.   Extension cable defect

3.   Connections on the motor or 

switch defect

1.     Check the mains fuse
2.   Check the extension cable
3.   Have it checked by an electrician

No Motor 
output turns off 
automatically

1.     Overload by dull saw blade

2.   Thermoprotection is triggered

1.     Insert a sharpened saw blade
2.    Motor can be turned on again after 

the cooling period.

Excess vibration

1.     Blade is out of balance

2.   Blade is damaged

3.   Saw is not mounted securely

4.   Work surface is uneven

1.     Replace the blade
