Cutting
Warning!
Use the supplied saw blades only for cutting of wood, never
for any other materials!
WARNING!
Always wear a dust mask to protect yourself against hazards resulting
NOTE:
Do not turn the switch on or off while the product is in contact
with the workpiece. It will decrease switch life and could cause damage
to the workpiece.
NOTE:
When cutting metal, use the suitable plunge saw blade and
special cutting oil for cooling and adapt the moving speed to the cutting.
>
not move during operation.
> Align the saw blade with the marking. Make sure that the saw blade does not
yet touch the surface.
> Switch the product on before placing the saw blade on the workpiece.
> Apply light pressure and carefully guide the saw blade into the workpiece until
the desired depth is reached.
> Only apply as much pressure as necessary. Higher pressure will not increase
but lower the performance of the product and leads to uneven results.
> When using the plunge saw blade (8/10), lift the saw blade/product from the
workpiece and repeat the cutting steps as mentioned above (Fig. 17).
> When using the segment saw blade (9), apply light pressure in the cutting
direction and move the product forward along the cutting line at an even speed
(Fig. 18).
> Keep the product moving at all times, do not stop in one position to avoid
grooves.
> Lift the product from the workpiece before switching it off.
