1.2 Part Names and their functions
1.2.a Handset front

Display – shows the information and guides you through
the various functions. For further details please see
chapter 2.6

Ear-microphone jack (at the left side) – allows you to
connect the supplied earphone/microphone
(3)
Speaker – your party’s voice is heard in the built in
speaker located in this point
(4)
Microphone – your voice is detected by the micro-
phone located in this place
(5)
Keypad – allows you to control the various functions,
dial the numbers etc. For further details please see the
chapter 1.3
1.2.b Handset rear

Carrying clip – allows to fix the handset to your belt,
pocket etc.

Cover of the battery compartment – allows you to
access the battery compartment
(8)
Charging contacts – your battery
is charged by the base using these contacts
