Action
The time-clock
does not power
on.
1. Verify that the time-clock is properly connected to
a suitable socket.
2. Verify that the transformer is properly
connected/secured to the time-clock.
3. Press-and-hold the left arrow for one (1) second.
4. If the time-clock does not power on yet, connect it
to another socket in order to find out if the problem
is in the socket and not in the time-clock.
The time-clock
does not identify
an employee’s
finger.
In some cases, a particular finger-print may not be
suitable for finger-print scanning.
1. Verify that the protection sticker has been
removed.
2.
Edit the employee’s record and try to scan other
finger-prints (Main Menu>User>Edit).
3. If no finger is found suitable, use the password or
card method.
The time-clock
does not identify
the disk-on-key.
1. Verify that the disk-on-key is properly inserted into
its port.
2. Try one of the following actions in the displayed
order, and if the problem is not solved, try the next
suggestion:
a. Format the disk-on-key and try using it
again.
b. Replace the disk-on-key and try using it.
c. Connect the time-clock directly to the
computer and download data via the web.
