HALO Users Manual
Revision G
29
The
Manual Settings
tab of the Settings Window is used to manually control certain functions of the
instrument. Changes to the Manual Settings fields can only be made when the unit is in SERVICE mode,
and these changes will revert to their previous values once MEASURE mode is selected. The Manual
Settings screen is used primarily for testing and diagnostic purposes. The user should not need to edit it
unless instructed to do so by a Tiger Optics Service Representative.
The areas that can be controlled are: Laser Current, Laser Temperature, Trigger Level, and 4-20 mA
Output. Fields with a gray background are read-only and indicate the value of specific system
parameters.
The date and time are set using the mm-dd-yy format for the date, and hh:mm:ss format for the time. The
time is stored and displayed in a 24 hour format.
After configuring the Manual settings you can select another tab on the settings window, or close the
settings window using the ‘X’ box on the window’s title bar.
