The
Main Display
provides easy access to all indicators and controls. The Main Display has five areas:
the tool bar, the measurement results, system status, alarm status, and the status bar.

The
Tool Bar
buttons are used to either select the operating mode, or to bring up auxiliary windows.

The
Measurement Results
area displays the measured contaminant concentration.

The
Mode
status indicates the current mode selection: Service, Tune, or Measure.
#
The
Laser
status indicates the status of the laser source. The display will show either OK or ALARM
#
The
Ringdown
status indicates the status of the ringdown acquisition. The display will show either
OK or ALARM
#
The
Alarm Status
areas indicated if the current value exceeds the user selectable alarm points. The
display will show either OK or ALARM
#
The
Status bar
indicates the current setting of various operating parameters. From left to right, these
are: laser current, laser temperature, ringdown threshold level, the ring-down time of the gas being
sampled (Tau Measured), the off-peak ringdown time of the system (Tau Zero), and the approximate
wavelength at which the laser is operating.
