Display Mode Settings
- this pa rameter sets the 7-segment display on the control
panel of the unit to show one of 4 operating parameters:
Max Current limit (I

) in mA,
Laser Diode Current (I

) in mA ,
Laser Diode Power (P
LD
) in mW or µW, or
Photodiode Current (I
PD
) in mA or µA.
W/A Calibration Factor
- Ea ch laser dio de has speci fic relationship between the
output power and the photodiode current. This parameter sets the calibration factor
for converting between these two values.
The calibration factor can be set between 0.00001 and 10,000.
For example, if set to ‘10’ a photodiode current of 1mA produces an output power of
10mW.
Note
If the hardware display is set to show laser power (PLD), it displays the power in mW
(or µW), even if the GUI is set to display laser power in dBm.
