T-Cube NanoTrak Autoalignment Controller
Horizontal & Vertical
Increments
The circle can be positioned by clicking in the NanoTrak display screen. These
parameters determine the d istance moved per mouse click. T he incremental
distance can be set for each axis, in NT units or microns - see the
Display Units
parameter.
If set to NT Units, the increments can be set from 0.01 to 2 NT units.
If set to microns, the limits are dependent upon the travel of the piezo actuator -
see the
Circle Calibration
parameter.
Circle Calibration
- If the
Display Units
parameter is set to microns, the ‘Horizontal’
and ‘Vertical’ Circle Move Increment limits are dependent upon the travel of the
piezo actuator. This parameter is used by the NanoTrak to calculate the
incremental limit per click, e.g. the NanoTrak screen is 10 units square, so for a
20µm piezo travel, 1 NT unit = 2µm so the Circle Calibration should be set to ‘2’.
The NT Unit limits (described above) are 0.01 to 2, therefore the micron limits are
0.02 to 4µm.
