MANDALAY
This Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm cannot operate without two, AA batteries.
Removing the batteries for any reason or failing to replace the batteries at the end of
their service life, removes your protection. Refer to the manufacturers owner’s manual
for proper replacement batteries.
This combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm has two separate alarms. The CO alarm is
not designed to detect fire or any other gas. It will only indicate the presence of CO gas at the
sensor. CO may be present in other areas. The smoke alarm will only indicate the presence of
smoke that reaches the sensor. The smoke alarm is not designed to sense gas, heat or flames.
NOTE: During normal operations, the Power/Smoke LED flashes green once per minute and
the CO LED is off.
