Next you’re going to cut the 16 pin DIL
socket in the positions shown to create a
single line 8 pin socket as shown.
18.
Next solder your newly created 8 pin
single line socket into place. The other
half of the socket can be kept for future
projects.
19.
Solder the single 1n5 capacitor into place
as shown.
20.
Solder the two orange fuses into position
as shown.
