SELF DIAGNOSIS
When a mechanical incident occurs, or following an operator error, a 10-digit number
representing the error is stored in the EEPROM. This number can be displayed on screen so
that the problem can be investigated and solved.
ERROR MESSAGE DISPLAY
There are two ways to do this:
Via Setup mode, when the Service Setup page is displayed on screen, press the Fast
Forward key on the remote control.
In Stop or Standby Mode, when nothing is displayed on the television screen, press
<ERASE/0000> for at least ten seconds.
Use the table opposite to interpret the message.
ERASE THE TEN DIGITS OF THE ERROR MESSAGE
Press <Stop> on the remote control.
EXIT SETUP MODE WITHOUT STORING IN MEMORY
Press <Exit> on the remote control.
