Stop brewing

Cleaning

The “stop brewing” function allows you to remove the jug during the brewing
process. This function allows you to simulate “brewing coffee by hand”to enjoy
the process of making coffee.

The drip-stop function enables you to remove the jug from the coffee-maker before the brewing
process is completed. When you remove the jug, the drip-stop stops the flow of coffee
into the jug. The coffee will not be able to release its strongest aroma before the brewing
is completed. Therefore, we do not advise removing the jug and pouring the coffee
before brewing process is done.

You are advised to select the “Stop brewing” function if you want to remove the jug in the
middle of brewing.

Cleaning after each use
Warning: Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid nor rinse it under
the tap.

Open the coffee chute

Turn the machine off and unplug the power cord from the power socket. Carry

out the cleaning after all the parts have cooled down.

Clean the filter cup and the jug in a dishwasher or with water and a little detergent.

Use a soft and damp cloth wringed dry to wipe the outer surface of the machine.

Use cloth or tissue paper and the brush provided to clear out the coffee residue

in the locations indicated in the diagram.

Due  to  the  coffee  beans’  oiliness,  there  will  always  be  minute  coffee  residue  left
after each grinding. This may affect the taste of the coffee. Therefore, in order to
retain  the  aroma  and  avoid  lowering  the  quality  of  the  coffee,  we  advise  you  to
clean coffee grinder once a week. Please follow the steps below.

(Clean the coffee bean chute every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the frequency of
use.  When  the  amount  of  ground  coffee  decreases  or  the  grinding  noise  gets
louder, the grinder should be cleaned promptly.)

Empty  the  coffee  bean  container  (grind  all  the  coffee  beans  that  are  left  in  the

coffee bean container before carrying out maintenance.)

●Place the filter basket back into appliance.

●Follow the diagram to open the coffee powder chute. Unplug the power cord from
the power socket after opening it.
