Note:
The Pre-trigger buffer generally ranges from 1 to 20 frames. However, if the frame rate of MJPEG on the
Streaming page (Video Configuration) is set to 6 or smaller, the range will change accordingly.

Make sure SMTP configuration has been completed. See section 3.2.5 for more details.
File Name
Enter a file name in the
File name
field, e.g. image.jpg, and select the desired file name format of the uploaded
image:
Add date/time suffix
File name: imageYYMMDD_HHNNSS_XX.jpg
Y: Year, M: Month, D: Day
H: Hour, N: Minute, S: Second
X: Sequence Number
Add sequence number suffix (no maximum value)
File name: imageXXXXXXX.jpg
X: Sequence Number
Add sequence number suffix up to # and then start over
File Name: imageXX.jpg
X: Sequence Number
The file name suffix will end at the number you set here. For example, if you set it to “10”, the file name will
start from 00, end at 10, and then start all over again.
Overwrite
The original image in the FTP site will be overwritten by the newly uploaded file with a static filename.
Save
Click the
Save
button to confirm all settings.
3.2.8.5 Manual Trigger
With the Manual Trigger settings, the current image(s) or video can be uploaded to the assigned destination, such as
an FTP site or an E-mail address. You can specify the triggered actions to be taken when the Manual Trigger button is
switched to
On
. Below follows a description of the available options.
Manual Trigger
The default setting for the Manual Trigger function is
Off
. Select
On
to enable the function. After the Manual Trigger
function has been enabled, click the
Manual Trigger
button on the Home page to start uploading data. Click again to
stop uploading.
Triggered Action (Multi-option)
The administrator can specify alarm actions to be taken when an alarm occurs. Available options are:
Enable Alarm Output 1/2
Select these options to enable alarm relay outputs.
Send Message by FTP/E-Mail
Select this option to send an alarm message by FTP and/or E-mail when an alarm is triggered.
Upload Image by FTP
Select this option to assign an FTP site and configure various parameters. When the alarm is triggered, event
images will be uploaded to the assigned FTP site. Note that to implement this function, one of the streams
must
be set as MJPEG; otherwise, this function will be grayed out and cannot be accessed.
The Pre-trigger buffer function allows you to check what happened to cause the trigger. The Pre-trigger buffer
frame rate can be pre-determined. The Post-trigger buffer serves to upload a certain amount of images after the
alarm input is triggered.
Note:

box to upload the triggered images during a certain period of time or keep
uploading until the trigger is off. Select

and enter the duration (1 sec. to 99999 sec.) in the
