Device Management Server
The Device Manager field defines the network host name and URL
of the Tisio Device Management server. This field can contain a
single hostname, IP address or a full URL address. The following
syntax is supported:
http[s:]/[<username>:<password>@<hostname>.<domain
name>:8080/ThinCCo/Servlet
Example:
thinccodm.yourdomain.com or
http://thinccodm.yourdomain.com/ThinCCo/Servlet
— At minimum a single host name or IP address must be
entered to change it from the
default settings .
— If the Tisio Device Manger server was set up as a secure web
server use
https:// otherwise use http:// . If not included, the
value http:// will be used.
— The username and password can optionally be used if the
Tisio Device Manger server was configured to require user
name and password values for enhanced security.
— The Tisio Device Manger is configured by default to use port
:8080 , and can be left off. This value should be included
however, if changed at the Tisio Device Manger server.
— The Tisio Device Manger server is configured by default to
use the directory path
/ThinCCo/Servlet, and can be left off. If
the virtual directory path was changed on the Tisio Device
Manger server, the directory path is required.
